TurnOnGreen Expands Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure in Foster City California

TurnOnGreen has completed an electric vehicle charging infrastructure project for the City of Foster City in San Mateo County, California. The installation includes multiple 48-amp Level 2 chargers capable of delivering approximately 35 to 40 miles of range per hour. The networked units are deployed at The Pilgrim, a workforce housing community, and are available exclusively to residents. The project aligns with municipal efforts to expand local access to electric mobility infrastructure.

The charging stations are integrated with TurnOnGreen’s cloud-based management platform, enabling remote operation, energy monitoring, and usage reporting. City officials indicated the installation supports objectives outlined in Foster City’s Climate Action Plan, which targets substantial emissions reductions by 2030. The project also received support from Peninsula Clean Energy through incentives and technical assistance. State projections from the California Energy Commission indicate that more than one million chargers will be needed by 2030 to accommodate anticipated electric vehicle growth, underscoring the importance of localized infrastructure deployment initiatives.
